Realme 5 Update gets Dark Mode and wide-angle video recording


Realme has released a new firmware for the Realme 5 which brings in the October 2019 security patch to the smartphone.

Additionally, this new build sporting version number RMX1911EX_11_A.18 comes with a system-wide dark mode that’s already available on six Realme smartphones, which include the Realme 1, U1, 5 Pro, X, XT, and the 3 Pro.

The update also brings the ability to record videos using the phone’s 8MP ultrawide angle camera and lets you expand the notification bar with a swipe down gesture on the home screen. You can check out the complete changelog below for more details.
