According to the Evan Blass (@evleaks) tweet, the Samsung Galaxy S11 will come in three sizes. He reveals that there will be three screen sizes. If we go by the naming scheme of the Galaxy S10 series, it suggests that the Galaxy S11e will sport either a 6.2-inch or 6.4-inch display, while the Galaxy S11 will offer a 6.7-inch screen. The Galaxy S11 Plus model will naturally offer the biggest display at 6.9 inches.
Blass adds that this time around all models of the Galaxy S11 will come with curved-edge displays. This means that unlike the flat AMOLED screen on the Galaxy S10e, the Galaxy S11e will get a curved panel. So, not only will Samsung increase the screen size of the Galaxy S11e from 5.8-inch to 6.4-inch, but it will also curve the display to make the phone look more similar to the S11 and S11 Plus.
The Galaxy S10e was lauded for offering a compact design which allowed the phone to stand out from the series because of that. However, if the Galaxy S11e comes with a bigger screen and body, we wonder how Samsung will differentiate the phone from the Galaxy S11 and S11 Plus. With the Galaxy S11 getting a bigger display, rumours about the phone housing a bigger 3,900mAh battery make more sense now.
The tipster adds that only two of the three Galaxy S11 models will get both 5G and LTE variants. Blass hasn’t revealed the exact details yet, but we assume one of them will be the Galaxy S11 Plus. As these are early leaks, it is best to consider them with a pinch of salt until things get clearer.
