Safari browser fraud website warning feature raises user privacy concerns

Some users have found a special clause in Apple’s Safari privacy policy. Called Fraudulent Website Warning, a fraudulent website warning. The original text is described as such. “Before visiting a website, Safari may sen information calculated from the website address to Google Safe Browsing and Tencent Safe Browsing to check if the website is fraudulent. These safe browsing providers may also log your IP address.”


That is, when the user visits a web address, the operation record of the visit will be sent to Google and Tencent for security website verification, and the website access will be performed after the security is confirmed. And Google and Tencent will record the IP information of visitors.
